About the event
In this workshop we will learn about different fibres and explore the craft of wet felting with sheep’s wool to create a felted artwork. This piece can then be turned into a cushion cover, seat pad, framed or used as a wall hanging.
Using wool, water and soap you can ‘paint’ your picture and embellish it using stitching and natural embellishments such as shells, wood etc.
Using the technique of needle felting with a specifically designed needle to stab wool fibres into your artwork you can add texture and depth to your work.
